This is one of four campaigns completely or partially narrated by a woman, the other three are the El Cid campaign (narrated by Ximena Diaz, El Cid's widow and successor), the Ivaylo campaign (narrated by Maria Palaiologina Kantakouzene, a Byzantine princess, former queen of Bulgarian empire and Ivaylo's widow), and the Alaric campaign (narrated by Alaric's unnamed wife) in The Forgotten (the latter being unvoiced).Of these three, this is the only campaign where the female protagonist herself happens to be the narrator. This is one of three campaigns with a female protagonist.This can sound confusing since that scenario also has its own achievement, named "Protector of the Realm". The achievement for completing the Jadwiga campaign is called "Star of the Poles", the name of the campaign's second scenario.The campaign is narrated by Jadwiga herself except for the last scenario, which is narrated by her husband, Jogaila (who is also the narrator of the Algirdas and Kestutis campaign), instead after her death. The player mainly plays as the Poles, but in Vytautas' Crusade as the Lithuanians, and the player color is red. The Jadwiga campaign consists of 6 scenarios.
